To get the most out of school and learning, young people need to attend school regularly.

Attending school regularly helps students develop confidence, social skills, resilience and teamwork.

In Australia you are required by law to ensure your child attends school every day the school is open for instruction.

When a students attendance falls below 90% the school principal is required to investigate and develop a plan (in consultation with the family) to address and restore regular attendance.
