Newton Moore Education Support Centre (NMESC) is focused on the creation of a safe, supportive learning environment through Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
PBS promotes positive behaviours and uses a common language to clearly define a set of schoolwide expected behaviours – respect, responsibility and safety.
Students are actively taught expected behaviours, given lots of opportunities to practice these behaviours and are acknowledged when they demonstrate expected behaviours.
We celebrate students’ outstanding efforts at the end of each term with a PBS Fun Day.
